About the Author
Garret Machine served as a warrior in the Duvdevan Unit, an elite Special Forces unit in the Israeli Defense Forces. In addition to participating in the unit's day-to-day combat operations, he was also a field medic and instructor who taught first aid and firearms tactics. He is now in the U.S., bringing his knowledge of the field to you firsthand.

An excellent basic guide for anyone seeking a career in the growing security field.

The threat from criminals, fanatics, lunatics and terrorists has made the security field very lucrative for those entering this special type of work. This manual outlines the security training the author learned in Israel. This interesting book is organized into six parts. They include the following: The first section explains the fundamentals of learning how to become a security warrior; the second section emphasizes the importance of physical fitness, shooting, first aid and tactical driving. The third section covers the skills required to be a security warrior. The fourth section deals with threat assessment and response issues. The fifth section explores how to handle suspicious people, vehicles and objects, and the final section covers basic mobile security techniques.
There are 26 chapters which cover all the basic information you will need to enter this growing field; however, like all books about specialized skills, you will need a security warrior instructor to actually teach you how to perform all the vital skills needed to enter this important field. It is well known that Israel is surrounded by enemies and they have developed some of the most professional security systems in the world. The author received his training from the Israeli defense forces and passes on this information in this very easy to read manual.

Any book that provides an insight and training into how the Israeli warrior thinks and trains, usually never fails.
This book does not fail.

Good book-packed full of wisdom.

This is a well written book packed with great information that can be used by the average man or woman to increase their situational awareness and educate them on how to deal with various situations that we may face in the world today.
Twenty six varied chapters cover all manner of topics including travel safety, physical fitness, tactical driving and suspicious people and objects. Some chapters may have more relevance to your individual circumstances but all the chapters will have something you can learn from and increase your knowledge and understanding of.
This will be one book that i will refer back to regularly .
